ACtually, he was talkign abotu clean out rates. DEpending on what the inside of the barrel is made of, what its coated in, how smooth it is and all that, some barrels will clean themselves faster then others. A JJ Ceramic will clean itsself. I know, I own one. Just tip it upside down(if you dont have a force feed) and dry fire 5 or 6 times. Cleans it up a LOT. Its coated in teflon.,. You seem to like to argue just for the sake of arguing and you seem to always claim you are right by bringing up some sort of technicality.

You can speedball with whatever you like .Might not be good with it, but whatever. The fact is, tippmanns are generally slow unless they have some serious mods on them.

Just found this site and was reading alittle here......I play both speedball and woodsball and use my A5 for both.

Alot of what is said here is because of the skill of the player. I waste people with $1000 dollar guns all day long and they walk away scratching their head wondering why.

Also you must remember one thing.......Any idiot with an automatic can do some damage regardless of skill level. With that being said many think they are actually good because they killed someone in auto mode. I prefer to play on semi where the true skill of a person can come out and shine.

It doesnt matter how much your gun cost or how fast you gun will shoot.....It matters if your good or not and if that person that has the cheaper gun that doesnt shoot as fast knows what he's doing and how to compensate for the guy with the pretty boy gun that cost an arm and a leg that thinks he's actually good.

I find it funny that some people think they are good cause they can put it on auto and spray all over the place because they are scared for their lives.

Not all are like this but come on guys alot are out there and they always blame the gun for why they got lit up.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

ur 2 cents are wrong by the way.

no one with a high end gun plays with it on auto. All semi...dont be jealous cuz they can shoot fast.

your not even worth arguing about this...but gun does matter.

just cuz ur not able to buy a high end gun doenst mean you gotta complain about it and claim that high end guns dont matter...they do.

and if your a "skilled" player like you claim you are...then a better gun WILL make you better.

a bad player using a good gun will not help him...however a good player using a good gun WILL help.

just cuz u cant afford a higher gun...it doesnt mean u can go into denial.

wow A5 Owner.. Anybody that says they put there guns on "Auto" is a newb. Flatliner already owned you and I'm going to add to it. Your just jealous of high end markers like me and many people have. High end markers are not on "Auto" its called we work hours to pay for a marker thats electronic and has a very responsive board. But I don't want to confuse you so ill make it short..

I bet on my life if you went up to anyone with any timmy, trix, or angel you would get destroyed. Yes your right its the skill of the player. But the nub of urself claiming people are more newbier than u is close to impossible.

its just no one with a low end guns actually sees the huge effect a higher end gun has...and they dont have the respect for pro players who can rip at 20 bps. why? cuz they dont have a high end gun so they dont kno how hard it actually is to get a marker to shoot that fast.

sure you can buy a $1,400 DM4 and rip...but if your like most teenagers u start small and work up...such as a cocker and put electric on it...or a simple angel and upgrade the board.

but its not just smacking electric frame on there...ya need a lighter bolt...faster ram..QEVs on the ram...a consistant LPR...a fast recharging regulator...and a good feeding HPA tank.

I was liek you once...smitty can preach for me...i would say higher end guns are a total rip and there is no point in spending that much...well once i upgraded i saw the light and the truth.

and once i upgraded and played a game with guys rippin at ur bunker shooting 18 bps with thier fast cockers, angels, or timmys i had a new respect for all those better players....and especially pro playres who can rip while getting ripped on.

go into a REAL speedball game with a full amount of the best playres at ur field.

you will not take them on. You flat out cannot compeat with people with faster guns. You can say all it takes is one shot all u want...but u cant get one shot out when they are pinnign u in the bunker cuz they are sending 18 bps at u. wat r u gonna do? peak out and shoto 1 or 2 shots...ya thats really gonna scare them...they will then bunker u.

no u would need a fast gun to start snap shooting back and sending paint back at them to get THEM pinned down...then u gotta start rippin on thier bunker to keep thier head in...then boom...u got the uperhand and can get them out.

I could go buy as many of those high end guns you speak of and have played with many also. I make over $300,000 grand a year and live in a $700,000 house. I dont envy none of your markers for I could buy as many as I wanted to.

One of your members here said they also live in Va Beach......Let him come see if I'm hurting for MONEY......That is a joke. I will give him my # and he can come to the house and we will drink a beer or 2 and then he can come back in here and tell all of you that YOU ARE WRONG.....You guys are really funny....LOL

I guess you would have to know how to relate to me alittle to understand what I mean.

I was in the Army for 9 years and was medically retired. I wont go into all that though.

In the military using an MI6A1 and the A2 you become use to using it and it is with you all the time. Especially on the Battlefield.

The A5 can be upgraded to be just like and M16 to a point more so than any other markers out there.

I will enjoy meeting some of you and I understand were some of you are coming from also.

I will say this though......Sometimes a better gun to others is not better for everyone.

I will PM the guy and then it will be time to show you all what I and my buds mean...

i play speedball on a regular basis with my tippmann. I have my good and bad days. I'm sure with a better gun i can get better but i chose to stay where i'm at. i play speedbal just fine and my gun is dummy proof.. I wish i could walk the trigger easily with my tippmann. I kinda put my whole pointer finger in the trigger and work it back and forth like a mad man and i am able to shut down lanes just as good as the other guys. But for me to work the trigger like i do i need to hold the gun up higher then normal. unlike higher performance guns...kinda hard for me to explain the drawbacks ...bottom line i like what i use and thats all that matters..

ppl hate being shot out with a tippmann ....
