Hey, just wondering, is there any speedballers out there that play with a tippy, i got alot of respect for those people, and wonder do u use an a5 or 98 custom, after i get my tessy im goona look into getting a 98, and for a while last winter i played with a tippy and had lots of fun, dont know if it suited me but i want one anyways but.. yea

i kno a guy at my feild that has a ebolted tippy...he plays just speedball.

he had a decent tippy...HPA reg..freak kit and halo.

i couldnt see anyone playing serious speedball with a A-5. i dunno the hopper is just to much in the way. The only tippy i see every playing speedball is a 98c. However ya gotta put a hell alot of cash into it to get it good

there are plenty of A5's ot there in the speedball world. I think the keu is to get used to the profile.

In the interview an effect player using an A5 was last man standing and took out all 5 of the other team from teh mid bunker. msut be one hell of a player!

tippmann effect IS NOT that good lol

they played at my field one time when i was reffin...they were getting consistantly beat by a local team...Blind Agression. They are a farm team for a pro team based out of chicago. Either way...here is this pretty danm good local team playing tippmann effect and they were beating them.

wat was even funnier...is after they started getting beat 2 of the effect players pulled out thier Dm4 and 2 other effect players pulled out timmys lol. I talked to one of the players inbetween games and asked them why they dont buy better guns...he said that if it werent for the sponsorship he would never be playing wit tippys...but they get free paint (i saw thier free paint...it was a pick up truck literally filled with cases. there had to be 120 of them there.

yes effect is good...but they are no where near as good as some of the paintball teams out there.

and look at the pic...notice the hit on the front of the cyclone feed

can a A-5 be used for speedball? sure...but do all of us have the mass talent that profetional paintballs have...hell no...so why drag yoruself down with a tippy when u can buy a better gun for the same price.

or u could be right...he put that orange sticker on there so any hits look less ovious cuz he prob. gets so many hits right there.

i dunno, maybe i could get into the habbit of playingg with that kinda marker, who knows.... but i think ill stick with my tes untill i get some money to get a custom, by the way which one is faster?

A guy at school started out with his 98 custom. Now he has ebolt, freak kit, halo b, and air. He keeps up with most guns, and doesn't want to sell, because of bad resale.

I wish I had an e-bolt on my backup Tippy. Or even better, the Predator II'd 98C. As for the cyclone hit, it's a sticker. It's to perfectly round and flat to be paint.

If you're doing speedball and you're already gettin a tes there's no need to get a tippy. Unless you want to do woods with it or something, but the tes will do you just fine.

well thats why you get a better barrel i never break paint with my ceramic in the winter and my dye barrel in the summer.

first off taht barrel is a hell of alot better then ur dye and ceramic...its a freak KIT...no kit is supposed to break paint.

second we said he has been CHOPPING. chopping is totally different then barrel breaks.

with current day barrels and paintballs...you should never break a ball in the barrel if your shooting the correct speed...with a good barrel...and good paint.

ive been shooting my pipe all year...havnt had one barrel break yet...ya i have had a chop here and there...but no barrel breaks.
