Nope, the Mirage was made by Mokal. I cant tell you much about it other then it's very close to a tippmann. It's apparently a good choice.

Well, The mirage is a good inline valve system. It is very gass efficient. We get 1000+ shots from a 12 oz. tank. The valve system to the marker is very simple and reliable. There are 7 seals in the whole marker. We use these for rental markers at our field for the last 5 years. The valve system on them is si,ilar to that of the Tippmann M98's, but is a lot more efficient. The only thing I personally don't like about them is you can't put a vertical foregrip on it. But for a reliable, well biult marker you can't go wrong. I've seen them run into trees and they still work fine. The rate of fire on them is pretty decent for a low to mid range marker. I hope this helps.

it does look a lot like th pro-carbine. I wonder if Tippmann ended up buying them out and jsut used thier gun as a starter.

Well this thread is ancient and brought back from the dead for nothing but Mokal isn't bought out by Tippmann they are still in business on their own and as far as I can tell Canada's only surviving paintball gun manufacturer.

Pro Carbines and Pro Lites are probably some of the best guns Tippmann ever made. Wish they'd bring them back for nostalgic purposes.

The mirages aren't pumps. They're semi autos that work i believe the same way as early stingrays and the type. They are efficient, i remember a 9oz lasting like 400 shots. But they blow sacks, really inaccurate because the flow of air to shoot was uneven and gave each ball a different spin. I remember playing with those at rental fields ages ago. Curveballs ftl.
