Regulator...
What is the best regulator for a custom at a reasonable price?

What air u running Co2 or HPA? You have LPK(Low pressure kit)? If you dont have LPK really dont need a reg. If u have co2 and want to help with the performance get expansion chamber or anti-syphon.

Depends on what you consider reasonable.
From what I've read, the Palmer's Stabilizer / Regulator is the best you can get for CO2.
I'm running that on my Model 98 Custom and I love it. The marker is much more consistent...

stop talking plz.
i talked wit him on AIM and i told him to get anti siphon tank so he wont have to worry about liquid CO2...and the best upgrade after that would be a reg.
reg will give you consistancy which will lead to accurate shots. You dont need a LPK to use a reg...and the LPK is pointless anyways so i dont see why anyone would have it n e wayz.

Ok Flatliner can u plz explain what was wrong with my post. Didnt see anything that was wrong. I did mention to get antisyphon for co2 to make it more consistent
Edit: If i was wrong than i was wrong but why not correct me in a nicer way all i was trying to do was help. And i dont think i was very off at all.

Think you can show me a pic with the Palmer's Stabilizer / Regulator on it? I found it for about 85.00. Does that sound about right?

u were actually very off.
every one of your statments was wrong.
First off there is no point in buying a LPK...so you shouldnt have mentioned that in the first place.
Second you can use a regulator without the LPK...and still get great performance out of your gun. The reg makes your gun consistant...which is half of getting good accuracy.
third "better performance" with CO2 by getting a xchamber or anti siphon tank?
how in the WORLD can u get better performance from a xchamber then a regulator lol. hmmm either a xchamber that doesnt help with consistancy...or a reg that does help with consistancy.
he is already getting a anit siphon tank...so that deals with the liquid CO2 problem...buying a xchamber woudl do nothing. It would just be a real expensive gas thru grip. He should get a reg now so he can get really good consistancy.

thanks Flatliner. Getting a J&J Ceramic 14inch barrel and then im getting that regulator. I feel those two things are the most important upgrades. Plus, I'm only playing woodsball anyway.

I find that "just use the search button" crap funny. If everyone searched for anything and everything, then there would be no point in continuing this forum. This forum has been online long enough for anything to be posted. What you are trying to say is no one needs to post questions anymore? No one minds answering repetitive questions to raise their post count haha

I've finally decided to skip the lpk and go with a high pressure reg...palmer's stabilizer (male). What is the recommended pressure with this reg?

I think 700-800psi and believe me, answering repetitive questions is a big pain in the balls no matter how much ur post count is raised

there is no recomended preassure...it all depends on ur air source and gun.
usually it is around 800...but like i said before...when u add a reg there is no set preassure...some guns can go lower then others
this is wat u do.
first gass up your gun...put paint in...then OPEN the velocity adjust all the way...however keep the screw just bareley in...this will open it all the way and make it shoot very fast.
go to chrono and start chronying it...it will shot hot...wat you do is then turn DOWN the regualtor...which will bring down the preassure.
keep doing this till you bring down the preassure so your shooting at the safe 280 fps.
this will let you shoot at the lowest preassure possible...being most effecient.

dont listen to Flatliner105 who is not around for some strange reason AGAIN!
they do make an adapter to install a reg where it acrews into the valve there by the trigger guard but it will not be any cheaper and more cumbersome to put it there, go with it forward at the grip
