I asked a tech about the whole low pressure thing a while back and heres's the response I got:

"WITH THE LOW PRESSURE KIT AND SECONDARYM REG., YOU CAN USE A HIGH OR LOW PRESSURE TANK, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE ADJUSTING THE OPERATING PRESSURE DOWN TO 350 PSI. GETTING A REGULATOR AND VERTICAL ONLY WOULD BE A WASTE OF MONEY

So now I'm back on track for the lpk. Do you guys agree with what he's saying here?

yes a LPK and a secondary reg (a regulator basicly) you can use a high or low preassure tank.

getting just a regulator being a waste of money? bull****.

I would love to talk to this tippmann "tech" and totally pwn him. The guy is trying to sell you the LPK. He works for tippmann so he is gonna try to make you buy the tippmann products...plain and simple.

we have told you a billion ****en times..the LPK IS A WASTE OF ****EN MONEY!!!

the tippmann techs are 100% biased cuz they WORK for tippmann...we are not biased.

me dhill and smitty are about the most knowledgable guys on the tippmann forum...we have all been through tippmanns...so we know exactly what upgrades to get and what not to get...we arnt biased...we go with what works.

and the LPK does not work and is not worth the money. It is a gimmick and you will see the SAME performance if you simply got a regulator.

the tippmann tech is biased...he sees ur a newb and is taking advantage of it...the LPK does nothign to help perofmrance...what you want is consistancy...and a HPA tank and a regulator will give you that.

if you do end up buying the LPK never come onto this forum again...we are heere to help you and give you advise...everyone on this forum has told you not to get the LPK...and if you dont listen to us then why be on here wasting our time with the same 3 quetsions over and over and over and over again.

Well of course they're going to tell you their product is better... They're not going to say "The LPK sucks, get a reg"

Yeah I know he's kind of biased but he's not going to lie. Anyway...I think you guys will be disappointed after me saying this: I'm not getting a new Tippy anyway since I'll be going to college soon and it would be foolish to spend any more money on stuff I don't need, I'll prolly end up selling my current tippy and spyder...thanks for the help anway.

yeah, amen to what you said flatliner. they want to push a sell. for your general tippy owner there is no advantage to the lpk system. just save your cash for a better gun.

his whole selling point was this. Buy the lpk kit, and u can use the high pressure hpa tank u use now, AND a lp hpa tank! WOW!!! SO I PAY ALL THAT MONEY SO I CAN USE A TANK I DONT EVEN HAVE!!!!!! AMAZING!

Only advantage i see is possible better efficancy from the lower pressure, but just run a reg and u can get decent efficancy results i expect. (i'm no tippmann expert)
