Electronic trigger?

Hey gang,

Kind of a newbie here. Bought a Tippman 98 last summer and just used it within the last week, well worth the wait. Had a blast at Paintball Dave's in Milwaukee, WI.

My question: Is there an upgrade option to equip a T98 with one of those electronic-like triggers for a more rapid fire option?

yes they do make an electronic trigger, but I would not reccomend it. Spend the money somewhere else. Like on a new barrel, or a double trigger, or on a response trigger.

I dont believe you can get a whole new grip for it. I know A5's have an e-grip. I know you can get an ebolt though.

Aha. Actually I talked my wife into..hopefully...buying me a new barrel, hopper and double-trigger thingee for Christmas. I'll load up that stuff and see how my play improves.

Thanks for such a quick post.

I wouldnt get the A5 if you already have the 98. My recommendation tho is to get your wife into the sport. After months of begging and pleading Kat(my wife) finally agreed to go play with us and now she's a junkie just like the rest of us here at the forum. Nothing says therapy like shooting your wife

get all that stuff and see if ya like it. The e-bolt kit for the 98c isnt worht the $230 in my opinion and id say hang onto what you got until you have money or desire enough to get a higher end gun. Until then just keep the 98 mechanical.

smitty, i still and always will love your posts...

GTA e-bolt and BSI are the only 2 kits you can by at the moment.
I do not think GTA are making the kits any more but, may make a new version for the future.
BSI, ballistic sports industries are out of business but, you can find there kits through out the net on different paintball sites.
