When your CO2 tank gets low is it possible that the cyclone feeder on the A5 stops working or works intermitently?

yea i noticed that when i was running low on co2 it wouldent shoot balls out it, it just dry fired. its weird

Yes it is possible for this to happen. SInce the cyclone does operate off excess gas if the pressure gets to a certain point it will not feed the cyclone any more. This is when you will have to manually cycle the cyclone or go get more Co2/air.

Yep when you are low on air the cyclone stops working and you have to manually cycle the balls.

yes, because the cyclone feed is powered by the gas, this is a problem both ways, if the gas is low...you have to manually feed them (as stated above) but when your tank is full..it will sometimes break balls...

My A-5 hasn't broke a ball yet, however, I shoot some of the Co2 out before playing! But yes when it is low, it will stop!

If your breaking balls on a full or empty tank in the cyclone its one of two things....

Its cheap paint your using (shell is really thin)
Or your cyclone ratchet and bottom plate has not been updated.

I used to break a ball every once in a while untill i heard about the cyclone overfeeding if you didint have the new updated A-plate, So i call up tippmann and they sent out a new ratchet and A-plate update to me and i havent had a single problem once.

I also have never broken paint in my cyclone. As far as it stopping fed when it gets low can be looked at sorta like the glass half empty or half full deal. It has some good points and then it has some bad.

dude...do you need to get a special setup on your marker to use HPA....or can you just screw the HPA tank into where the old C02 tank was?

ok so you dont need to pay to get an extension that will equalize the pressure in order to use the HPA right? you just buy a tank..unscrew your old c02 tank and screw in the HPA and your ready to go? ....i use a remote...(scenario player)....so that too wont effect it in anyway?

This is why its better to have electrronic feeders than one ran by gas.

U should have gotten a 98 custom like Smitty and made it sexci and then have a shot of it with some girls leg and if u have a hot wife then use hers. I dont think any1 has used that Idea yet.
