i am thinking of buying a new gun for tournaments, about $300-$450. wut would anyone here suggest? i was thinking an ion or an auto cocker 04(electric WGP i think not sure)

nope, not a cocker, they simply don't pack enough firepower stock. There isn't really a whole lot of new guns in that range.

U could get a wrath or a ion and buy some ups for them. U could get a used e-cocker, maybe u could find a 2k2 timmy that low (though i doubt it) perhaps a used and highly upped impulse, another option could be the older matrixs, a halfway upped one would be very close to $500.

well definetly not a wrath. they break easily i herd and they are just not my type. i was thinking an ion tooo, with some ups. u mean the proto matrix? where could i find a reliable site to buy a protoix off of? im just not sure

Nope, i'm talking about the older matrixs kinda like these 1 of 15 Tequila Matrix

a upped ion would be nice. Feedneck, reg, barrel, asa then start saving for a board.

Yea I would definatly think about the ION. With some good ups they can be great guns, and as bobide mentioned, new boards are in the making, which will make them even better.

so a Blue Ion,Halo B,black shocktech drop,DYE ultralite, 68/4500 psi carbon-fiber wrapped tank. does that sound good?

the ion is nice but you could save a few hundred and get a proto matrix, shocker, used alias, something along those lines

Nope, a brand new Proto trix is $750 I think. I love those things, if only I had the money for one. But anywho, get an Ion I guess (That slays me saying that). They're a good tourney gun for the money.

I deffenatly recomend an ion because i just got one and it is a great gun and i was clock shooting bout15BPS and it didn't chop any balls. Mine has no ups. and it is a great gun.

your list sounds good to me but i wouldnt get the drop unless it is really small. get the ION it is good for the money and then u still have money left over to upgrade it

b2k4 with pds. theyre pretty fast stock, and pds is the shiz. get a new reg and ull be pretty well set for tourny play

i would recomend saveing for the proto they are so nice i just got one.
