i joined a team that enters alot of tournies which is good. the bad part is that i have to go visit my dad who lives in ohio every other week for about 4 days in the summer. i was on a team before but it was a local team full of friends so it wasnt a big deal if i missed. well this team asked me if i wanted to go to a crazy daves tourny on fathers day and obviously i cant go.. should i tell them forget about it im out or do you think i should stay but miss some of the tournies

How many are you talking about missing? If this team is dedicated to playing, you are only hurting them if you are not equally motivated. Also will they put up with you missing or will they cut you?

Explain to him whats going on. If he supports you and thinks its koo. Stay and ball...if not...try to compromise with him.

I personally would choose to ball...Ive dropped my family to ball (long story...dont flame me) and my GF is my teams photographer so we still get to spend time together.
