I understand perfectly. And upon further thought, I see your point about the money. Pro footballers would do anything they could get away with to win, so there isn't much difference.
It's just wiping seems pretty crappy. I understand playing on, I mean you don't have time to look down and check yourself, that I get... but a blatant wipe? ...I dunno.
Somebody has a hilarious wipe in their sig. It's a .gif of a dude getting shot in the mask, wiping and keeping on shooting.

I saw a paintball tournament on tv and a guy took a hit as he was heading for the snake. He slid in and wiped his leg in the process. The camera caught it and the announcer mentioned it. Now everyone knows this dude wipes. Do other players just have the attitude that's it's ok if you get away with it?

I read something in this months PB2X about Refs Domain and all of the ways of wiping. Pretty cool, 9/10 pro's do it. If not all. How else do you think they made pro.

its like cheating on a test...
I figure, if you have the skill to successfully cheat on a test, you have deserved that grade.
if you wipe a shot with refs all around you, congrats, my hat goes off to you.
its part of the game.
i'd rather have just some wipers, and abolish ramping.

the upper levels like D1 and pro don't wipe as much. U may catch one of them doing it but it's not as common as in D2 and D3 games. At least, that's what i've read.

Pros don't care. Their guns are so fast they can lay 3 hits on u. U may wipe them the first time but eventually a ref will see or they will bonus ball them so bad u can't hide it.

i dont wipe i kno of one team that cheats went to a cfoa event and got put out the second round (the coach something like that i kno i am close to wat he said)
