Me and some of my freinds all got paintball guns and have been playing rec ball for a while and we wanted to start practiceing and maby get into some tournements this summer.

We have 4 players right now, how many do we need to get into the tournements?

These are the guns that we have for now but we are all upgrading soon.

Spider Victor 2- 14 inch CMI Barrle
Tippman 98 Custom
Icon Z- 16 inch J&J cernamic barrle
Spider Xtra

We are going for speedball, what would u recomend for upgrade guns?

ions or maybe spyder imagines/clones with t-boards (dunno if thats legal in tourneys) some tourneys have 3 man tourneys, maybe 4 man, depending where you go. sounds like fun, good luck to ya.

3 man is the best bet. But if you can pick up an extra player you could have a 5 man team. The only problem with that, is all of your players probably wont be able to go to a 5 man tourney all the time, because thing's come up.

So I would suggest just playing in 3 man, that way, if something happen's were one of your team mates cant go or has an emergency, you have the back up player to look to.


As for the guns, you could enter a small 3 man tourney with those guns, and you could do alright. But it's good that your upgrading.

I'd suggest picking up at least 2 more players - the more the better (7 would be ideal).

Before you go gettiing all new equipment, check into getting into a local cheap 3-man tourney. Go play and base what you want to invest into paintball off that expierence.

We are wanting to get into a tournement now because we have picked up some better guns and some players.

we now have 6 players and have gone to some local fields and played some 3 man to test our game plan and went 6 and 2 on the day.

Where do you find out when the turnys are? I live in Missouri so you Missouri guys help us out.

That may help you out. But just ask the owner's of the field about tourneys they know of. If it's like kentucky, all the owners try to help each other out and spread the news about tourneys.
