Positions in different bunkers?

Im sorry if there is already a thread on this but i did not find one, basically what im asking is what different stances or positions do you do in most of the bunkers on a speedball fields

ex: snake, knees, stomach, what?
dorrito: power stance (what is this ive heard it before) knees what? cans i know you stand up but mainly what is a basic position for all bunkers. etc.

I like kneeling on one knee. But make sure that the knee you're resting on is on the outside edge of the bunker, or else you're a nice target.

DYnasty Powerstance - its almost like.. ready to run.. its kind of sideways.. stood up but VERY slightly bent knees. easy to move and adjust...

i like powerstance..never sit or go on ur knees... in snake=crawl and only posit. to go on knees.

I go powerstance on anything. Unless it's a standup/snake, then standing up or crouched low.

I powerstance pretty much everything except for tiny cubes. Then I have to drop to a couple knees. It kills my legs but it's soooo much better.

It really depends. If its a short bunker like a tombstone or mini temple, your not oging to stand up (there are exceptions.. Like shooting over the top, but your not standing).

Lets say your in a standup aztec. Basicly, you could play on your knees, on one knee, standing, whatever. Reason for changing stances is to keep it random. Come out in a powerstance and learn where the guy is... DEpending on if you have a good lane, you could go to one knee.. The guy (if he's not too bright), will expect you to come out of the same spot next time you snap... So mixing it up will keep him on his toes.

You can switch sides (especially if your shooting at your mirror), but if that means wrapping around the bunker and exposing yourself to a snake (unless of course you know the count and know for sure where everybody is on the field.. Then you can break certain rules), dont do it.

i use the powerstance on just about every bunker except cubes and mini x's.

when i need to get lower, i put one knee down. For example, if i was playing mini x on the right side of the field, and needed to shoot out left, i would keep my left knee on the ground.

As a general rule, keep the leg down on the side you're snapping/shooting out of, so that your whole leg isn't sticking out when you are snapshooting, and you have less weight to "bring back in".

I think a lot of it depends on your height also. Because I can barely do the powerstance on a lot of small bunkers because I'm 6'5", so I'll usually go down onto one knee, or stomach while in the snake.

I stand/powerstance... If I'm in a bunker where I'm not supposed to be, I'll go on a knee. NEVER BE ON BOTH KNEES.

why not on both knees? to hard to pull yourself back in?

No, you can pull yourself back in fine on both knees...but, you won't be able to get up and run as fast as you would be able to if you just had one knee down.
