I am amazed at how many people are playing with Spyders in Tournements, i think this is absoultly rediculous...this sounds hipocriticle (sorry about the spelling) from someone that used to own a spyder, but hey at one point or another didn't all of us own one? I just seems weird to see people put more money into their Pilots on ups than it actually cost for the gun itself, wouldn't it be easier to just get a new gun, or are they just living in denial...what do you guys think?

Yes it would be easyer for them to just buy a new gun. I think spyders can be used in tournaments, its more skill than the gun anyway.

upping is fun, and makes your gun more personal... my first real gun is a spyder victor ii and i plan to keep that and eventually upgrade it to a full auto myself.

well, yea i actually agree. The quality of a spyder cannot really surpass the fact that it IS a spyder, unless u put EVERYTHING new on it like put ION parts and made it an ION but thats more expensive than buying a preassembled gun.

Skill yes, but some rely on quality such as Kick and weight ect.

A spyder victor 2 would be a really bad choice for a tourny. I was talking about the higher end spyders like the electa's, fenix, or the VS ones. A victor would not work well in a tournament at all. You'll need it to be at least electronic.

I use my spyder Imagine (old school imagine), or at least i will until i get my promaster, it works well.
