tourney remotes???

ok i was just wondering why tourney players dont use remotes? are they easier to use, slide with. please let me know

some tournies dont allow them, but, they are something else that can be hit, it can get caught on stuff, its one more piece of equipment to bring, you cant rest your marker on your sholder for better aiming without also adding a stock, if you have your tank on your back you cant carry as many pods, the marker will be front heavy without a tank on the back, etc. etc.
