^^^^^^^^you suck
I've been sponsored by Dye, Proto, Evil, PMI, Bonebrake, Pure Energy, Halo, you name it....
IMO guys, wait for sponsors to come to you. I look at it this way, if I have to pay to use some company's gear then I'll deny the sponsorship. However, if they give you free stuff then I'm all over that of course. Wait for them to come to you.

is it easier to get sponsered by a big company like Pmi or would it be easier to get sponsered by a local sporting goods store?

You aren't gonna get anything for being a good sportmanship, especially if you are trying to get a well known sponsor, and yes I do know from experience.

its nice to become friends with people that own stores or fields. We became good friends with owners of a store and we ended up getting sponsored through them.

first of all, to the man in germany. It sucks being over seas I've been there only six months though. But your dad is doing a great thing serving for our country. Second, the germans want you to be 18 because they know Americans f_ucking own the paint. There discriminating against you. Angry youth goes along way in foreign countries. 75% of our military is under 25.
We'll be her for you when you get back.

Hey Aftermath ya jerky! The reason why playing paintball in Germany under the age of 18, and indeed, the reason why playing paintball in Germany is banned everywhere apart from on American and British military bases is because the German government do not want to encourage a Neo-Nazi uprising. It is their belief that paintball would encourage militaristic attitudes. Now I know that having it banned in Germany sounds sucky, but they do have a point, so chill! If thats what it takes to avert another bloody world war then so be it.

no offense dude, be we have neo nazis in america too. Ever hear of the white power? probably not as big here as in germany, but it still sucks. and i don't think paintball will cause a uprising, what are they gonna use, angels and intimidators? they'dhave to get real guns. and if they're gonna do an illegal uprising (oxymoron, i know) they're gonna do it wether they're 18 or not. really, i didn't post this to be offensive, just to make a point.
Edit: and World War Two was started mainly bcause hitler fed off germany's feeling that they got ripped off in the Versailles treaty. NOT because of Germany's love of natziism. they wanted to get back @ France and all the other Allys, which ever way they could. Hitler just gave them a way, that's all.

Team needs to wins some tourneys bottom line.I used to race rc cars did for three years, I always placed 1st,2nd or 3rd every series.I met a lot of people that were backed that had way too much crap and could not drive.I had never asked anyone to back me because in my mind I needed some big wins ,not just club level BS.If you don't have a team get out and meet some people.Don't expect people to ask you in right away .Go play some games you have to show the skills young jedi.I am not backed and I am a FNG but I have everything I need and love the sport. It is awesome fun and a great way to make new friends. If you feel the need to have a sponser to play then this will probably be a bad sport for you.
Get out and play if you need a gun ,go mow some lawns or something.Don't feel that you need a sponsor to start PBing ,get a gun and have some fun.Everything else will fall into place down the road.Having the skills and showing some wins would be a step in the right direction. Just my O2

that is exactly how we are working on getting our team sponsored for the upcoming local pb league. i am pretty good friends with several people at the local sporting goods store, including the guy that takes care of the pb stuff. another guy on my team is a world class competition trap shooter, so he's in really well with the guys at the local gun shop. both of which could be helpful to us bigtime. we'll see how it goes...we may hit them up this week.

Can someone type up an example of what a good resume to give to a company should look like?
