A question on how to play 3man

well first off our guns are bko back/mid defiant back/mid and a tippman with triggerjob front/mid

well we were thinking the tippman gets to at least the 40 hopefully the 50 running down the middle. the way the middle is set up is theres 2 back bunkers then 1 middle bunker right infront of the start then a triangle bunker on right and left then theres the fifty. we were thinking he goes to the 50 then we walk to the middle beer can. i shoot in the main right side lane and he shoots in the main left side lane. There isnt really any other place they could go unless the clog the middle like us, but if we get 1 or 2 out i was thinking we both run to the 2 triangles then just play aggressive from there when its 3v2 or 3v1. or should we have 1 guy go up and 1 go back?

im thinking you shouldnt have the guy go to the 50 if he can make it then yes but in tounys its alot harder to make it and you dont want to risk that you should come up with different strategies.like sometimes everybody plays back(maybe not with a tippmann or 2 fronts 1 back or the front goes up the middle the backs go to the left and the right(if this helps you at all feel free to give me some rep points )

I like to see the field so I base where we all go on that. Just figure out what strategy will work the best.

yea, watch some games and figure out how the other teams are playing and adapt to that. Also walk the fields and find your key bunkers. put your fastest gun in the back and have him lane, maybe your 2 fastest. The put your fastest running and smallest player up front. Make sure he can play tight and move quick. Just work with what field you have and how your oppenents are playing.

you can't really play the same play over and over again, they'll eventually know where your goin. Instead, make several different plays to make sure they dont get used to the first one. Watch other players and how they play. Theirs 3 types of players. A running rusher, a hold down hoser, and a shoot or die. A running rusher is a person who runs to his first bunker without taking any shots, then as soon as he gets to his first bunker he opens fire. A hold down hoser is usually the back player, he won't run much OTB but he'll use his high BPS on you. Then theirs the shoot or die. He is usually a middle man, they shoot while running to their bunker. It's like a game of rock, paper, scissors. The running rusher is strong against the hold down hoser, but weak against the shoot or die. The hold down hoser is strong against the shoot or die, but weak against the running rusher, The shoot or die is strong against the running rusher but weak against the hold down hoser. So adapt your skillz to everone elses ways of play because their more than likely going to play the same style over and over again. And Parts of this post was in an older issue of Action Pursuit Games magazine.

sometimes what we like to do is overload one side of the field like if there is a snake on the right or something send fastest shooter to back mid and have 1 player go to the head of the snake and another player right behind the snake if there is a bunker there and when the guy at the head of the snake moves to the middle of the snake have the guy behind the snake move to the head of the snake all while the back mid guy covers them from bunkering

what you want to do is get your tape runners to both sides and make them shoot across the field so they shoot little x's. Then get your back player in the back middle and make him shoot every1 in the whole field because you'll have the biggest view from teh back middle and you can always keep your eye on the flag. Then, Just make sure your tape runners are advancing.

The main keys to touneys is to keep movng, and keep shooting 100% of the time- if you have constant streams covering the main lanes you'll have a much better chance. Also- control the 50. if you can get a player to the 50 pretty early in the game, and keep him in the game, you'll win 9 times out of 10. Just run low, and keep shooting!!!
yea, movement is key. Have a few practice sessions before the tourneys- scrimmage other teams, and work on snap shooting.

You also have to get all your players to be able to shoot off hand and your front players to be able to snap shoot off hand
