are there any rules about certain clothing you have to wear?

I dont think so. But I heard that the some of the DYE jerseys along with some of the JT ones will be banned because some of the material in them help make the paintballs bounce

Yeah, jerseys with padding on them are supposed to be banned. You can also only wear one layer of clothing under your jersey.

^yes your are, usually just 1 layer under your jersey, and the only jerseys that have been banned are the 03 and 04 dye jerseys because they have padding on the shoulders, however most of the local tournies dont care if you wear them.

Rules
1 tshirt or long sleeve shirt under neath your jersey
if its a dye with elbow pads, your not aloud to wear anything under neith the jersey
jerseys must be tucked in underneith the harness, but can pull them up a bit to get them more baggy again (only asshole reffs follow this one)
Only one head ban or hat may be worn along with a mask.

i completly agree with andy about the no clothes thing.
For 1- people think you are fearless
2-you dont get as hot
3- u try alot harder not to get hit
(which is only good if u still participate)

At my feild the reefs said only one layer under your jersey, thats about it, nppl has color issues thoughs such as no clear hopper covers.

it's not the lids, the NPPL has now banned clear hoppers in general. i have no idea why. maybe because a ball break on the hopper could look like it's in the hopper instead.

also in the NPPL you can only ahve one 2"x4" sticker on your hopper... but honestly what ref is gonna measure?

it matters what tourny your in my local field doesnt care and most small tournys dont either isnt he padded jerseys only illeagal in the nppl?
