The only problem is that the true ramping boards, the team signature boards, cost so damn much. Makes me angry.

I try not to cheat. But when you are playing for good prizes and a sponsor you do what you have to to win. Don't deny it. Think of it like this, you are playing a game of halo for 50 bucks, would you screen watch?
Cheating in rec ball/practice is for queers though.

the team i just played with never wipes (unless its the tourny at 68 caliber and the refs suck to much to care) and we still pretty much dominate. everyone does it, so u shoot them 5+ times so they cant make it go away. cheater boards are a waste. just put a sweet spot on ur trigger so it bounces like a mofo when u pull over that spot. they were REALLY REALLY strict on gun bounces and ramping in the last tourny. pretty much every alias, 2 dm4's and an eclipse factory edition cocker were pulled. there are lots of points to be lost in cheating, more then can be gained. thats the main reason y we dont wipe.
now, if u get shot running to a bunker and u dont slide over the place you get shot, then you are an idiot. those hits are so hard to pick up and EVERYONE slides so its a gimme wipe.

who doesnt screen watch in halo?
in any case, in tournys, wiping is game, and it is happening, and will continue to happen. In alot of cases if you dont cheat when you have a good chance your gunna get rolled, thats just the way things are nowadays. But like previously sytated, anytihing below tourny wiping is stupid.

as much as i hate it, im hoping to join/start a local tourney team and sooner or later i know ill need to wipe so im reading this thread. interesting.
where do you guys practice wiping at? the airball field(that is used for tournies) isnt open to everyone i dont think. do you just practice wiping at home or what? you cant really press in to wipe a hopper hit on steel tubing

i dont like the guilty feeling afterward...but sometimes a hit is just bull (bounces on the ground, shoe hits) and u cant help but wipe it to save yourself the embaressment of admiting u got hit by a bouncing paintball. btw, ive watched some dynasty videos and in one game, greenspan gets hit in the pod on a run so what does he do? pull the the and use the one that got hit even though it wasnt the most conviently located pod on the pack. even though dynasty is like the yankees of paintball, they are kinda cocky and cheat.

camoflauge, another way to get around gettin hit in the pack is to just break downfield and make the best of a runthru, your gonna get pulled regardless.

Brandon, Oakland, was checking me a while back on our home made HAY Bail field, I was hit, he wiped it for me, so technically the ref cheated not me.

Jonny_fred you don't understand.
how old are you?
have you ever played a tournament?
if you have ever played a tourney worth winning (ie: you win cash, or guns) you WILL wipe.
I love this quote:

ok well i want to enter a tourney, and i plan on cheating if i have to (like if the other team cheats, i dont want to leave cuz i spent like 500 dollars to just get in) But when is the right time to wipe? because i don't want to get kicked out if a ref see's

you dont want to be obvious about it, if you get hit in the hand or somethin and there isnt a ref on you, tuck into the bunker and like switch sides... as your switching, have your hand slide against the bunker, itll rub off... you can this with arm shots, leg shots (if its a standup bunker), and foot shots... and even with hopper hits and stuff. its a lot easier to rub a hit off then it is to wipe it...

but if you get shot in the arm/leg/hand again, and do the same thing again, won't they catch on to you?
