?s on starting a team and when you know your team is ready?

alright, ive been really wanting to get out of the woods and into speedball. tournies look fun and i think it would be a cool experience(and good excuse to get off work ). anyways, i want to start a team on my own, prolly a young guns(3 man teams, 16yrs and under) to start off. im turning 16 on aug 7th so do you think it would be better to start an open class team(5 man) that way i wont have to worry about age restrictions limiting who i can get? also, i know the next local tourney will be some time in december or january, do you think 5-6 months of practice would be enough to enter a tourney and not place dead last?

im new to this tournament stuff so any help is appreciate. the tournies are in xball format which i have no clue about because my adobe acrobat thing is gay and doesnt work because the computer sucks. could someone type up the basic rules of what PSP x-ball format is? it would be a great help for me...

get 7players. make sure you all get along good, all are same level OR better. 6months of prac would actually be really good. start getting ready for open class. YG is pointless

scimmage other teams at yuor field and ask what level they play. that will be a good way to find out what a good challenging level is for your team, and it is great practice.
