Marker tight to body
I am just getting back into a team, and I am playing as a front man. I have heard from different people about how tight your maker should be to your body while shooting. Some say it is better while moving to have a bigger tank, and then to keep tight while in the bunker. Is it ok to have a big tank while being a front man?

Of course it is okay, as long as you don't mind having a bigger, heavier tank, and it doesn't effect anything performance wise, but most prefere a smaller lighter tank that is easier to play tight with, and easier to manage.

it's okay, but like it's easier if ur a frontman to use say a 16 oz co2 instead of the 20... or like a 68/45 hpa tank instead of an 88, but bbig tanks are okay but may slow you down some...

I play front and I use a mag with a 47 ci. I can play very tight with it. I haven't done any serious ball in it, just some snap shooting form 'bunkers' around the basement

the size of the tank really has nothing to do with how tight you play. if you use a rail with a 68, sure it may seem long when held straight out, but all you need to do is tuck inwards and youre tight. and having the tank out like that makes it much easier to shoot fast and run & gun, atleast accuratly

Personal preference. Try it, and rock it.

like paint said, if you go for a smaller tank that you can play tighter with, you wont be able to accuratly shoot on the run

Depends on how tall he is. He might be 4 foot nothin, and therefore his arm length would only need a 45 tank to be the same as say a 68 for me.(6ft)

if you are ever _running_ and shooting, you are doing something wrong.

if you are on a full boar run and you are shooting, you are doing something wrong.
Not saying jogging, not saying walking, not even saying trotting...
If you are claiming that you are able to bunker someone better while doing a run through with a smaller tank, I may have misread your statement, (although dont agree with it)

you misread what i said
i said with a smaller tank, you cant run and shoot
but as for saying its wrong to shoot on the run, look at any pro game, look at xball. if your not moving, your the other team is going to get teh angles on you
i just did drills for an hour yesterday shooting pods off of bunkers off the break, and if you dont recognise that as a skill any player would need, then you sir must suck anus

all the pro games i watch, the pros run to the bunker, then shoot
sprint as fast as possible to the bunker, then make the angles at the bunker...

No, you are wrong. Thats it. No more discussion. You shoot while you run.
The only exception I would make is if you are trying to hit the 50 off the break. Otherwise, run and shoot.

I can see what he's saying, in like 7man usually if your going for the 50 or the snake off the break you usually don't shoot. Especially if its a key bunker. If its not off the break though, run and shoot yourself in. If your hitting anything before the 35, run and shoot in. Simple. Done. You run, we shoot you, have a good day.

If ur the front going for the leading edge u dont shoot. But backs and mids do and should as they go to their primary bunks. And when ur doing a run through u run, then as u get near, begin to aim, and while running shoot the bastard. (perhaps u should look at the webdog radio videos, that's where i learned it.)
As for playing tight, its all how ur stance is. Just keep ur elbows in and feet tight. If u find the tank size is a prob then go smaller.

Thanks for the info on stuff. I am probably going to go smaller, but not to small. Can anyone give me a good idea on size, and where I can get it cheap?
