pshhh listen here buddy....

i know a lot of guys dont like it, but i too HATED IT at one time... i listened to rock, mostly like surfer rock, a ton, like thats all i listened to.... then my friend gave me a cd by The Game (the Documentary, his new album) and the CD got me into rap....

i dont know, i have tried both, and like this better....

i just hate the people who think they are cool for listening to older rock too.... like my brother thinks hes the **** for listening to acdc metallica and lynard skynard, and he is 13.... im like wtf get a life and get some originality...

i also am tired of kids who listen to "classic" rock. Like The Doors, Zepplin, and others. I'm just like, "wow thats great, bye" And go and listen to my own blend of music.

I'm also sick of the ppl that listen to rap and are like "aren't i cool! I'm white and listen to rap!" I'm not claiming ur one of those annoying posers. To each their own, and i just don't dig what u listen to.

that or u just dont grow up living where they do, and cant comprehend whats its like living surrounded by gangs and drug dealers and shootings every night. im not exactly a rap fan, but thats mainly because i like music with a little depth. for the most part rap i hear is about chicks and 20 inch dubs and pimpin and **** i dont care about. closest thing i listen to rap is N.E.R.D. i like them. shouldnt this be in the music section?

ya c murder killed that kid, but i mean the kid knew who he was and shouldnt have been talkin ****... im not saying that justifies it or anything, im jsut saying in cory millers defence, with the kind of lifestyle he had, the kid should have kept his distance...

i like eminem when he isnt being funny.... i loved cleaning out my closet, **** i got the whole song memorised easy, its teh only song from eminem show on my mp3 player.... but when he is funny, he acts too white to be a rapper.... i duno haha, i dont like his funny songs

personally, there are only 2 songs of 50 cents i like, and both have eminem in them (patiently waiting and i think the other one is called explode or sumtin).... truth be told, eminem can spit some crazy flows....

This is the reason rap is ****ty. Who the **** cares how "bad" his lifestyle is? We live in ****ing America. The lowest of the low is the highest of the high in half the other countries of the world. Do you hear about the people in Africa *****ing about the AIDS epidemic and not having enough food? No! The average African citizen just goes about life and deals with it, and he has it 1000x worse than ****ing C Murder, or Mike Jones, or 50, or any of those ****ers. I hate that. Rappers are worse than emo kids. So what, you grew up on the streets? Here's me caring. You're now a multimillionaire with a hundred thousand adoring fans. Stop writing bull**** about the streets BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIVE ON THEM ANYMORE.

Yea... i didnt mean that isnt how stuff is in the "Ghetto" but in their life. Half of these "thug's" you hear rapping have probably never actually been faced with what their rapping about... Then why would they rap about it you may say, Because it sells.

Edit- also i listen to rap, i like it and rock. And i dont live in the city or ghetto, but where i live, here in the hills of Ky, there is gangs, drugs, and shootings. And just on the list of who he posted, Dr Dre grew up in LA. He was a Dj...... He remixed soul classics for gods sake... how gangsta is that?
