Napalm Death
I bought The Code is Red...Long Live the Code yesterday at Bestbuy on a whim. This album ****ing rocks. Heavy as ****, insanely brutal, crushing guitar, and Napalm Death invented the blastbeat, so it's obviously prominent in the mix.
Discuss.

Napalm Death=best grindcore band.
I'm not a fan of the genre, but I really like the album Scum.

LOL.
Your opinion in the music forum now means nothing. It's one thing to say that they're lame, and I can deal with someone not liking the same music I do, but to say that they're only slightly talented proves that you don't know much. Napalm Death invented a whole genre, and a form of drumming that is now steadily used in most forms of metal (blast beat drumming). Yep, only slightly talented

I don't even really like Napalm Death a huge amount, but I think I might listen to obscene amounts of blast beats out of spite now.
OH I HEAR ONE NOW.

Linkin Park invented a new genre, but im sure you have plenty of good stuff to say about their talent. Your opinion means nothing because you listen to 2 types of music, and one is country.

linkin park didnt invent anything, and they arent really very good at any of their instruments (that they have demonstrated so far), anyway what do you think they invented?

I listen to country, metal, blues, jazz, funk, whatever. Don't think that because I predominantly listen to metal, doesn't mean that I don't listen to other things.

k so judge by one post. my main difference is country. metal has influences from almost every other genre I listed, so it's not a big break away for me. You don't know jack **** about me, so don't even try and act like you do. You don't know what I listen to in my free time, or what kinds of bands I'm in. If you knew me, you would know that I'm a back-up vocalist for my friends BLUES BAND. But you would rather just jump to conclusions about my musical tastes based on the fact that I'm a metalhead.

Excuse me? Jump to what conclusions? Youve given no indication of anything except that you listen to metal and country. You hop on everyones threads bashing everything from nelly to beck. You dont have one positive thing to say about anybody else's tastes in music unless its something you already listen to. Dont you tell me about judging.
I wasnt even judging you, so why dont you keep the conversation musical, instead of continually making it personal, which you did before as well. You can't take criticism, and THAT is pathetic. Even when its criticism of a band you listen to. Napalm Death blows, in my opinion, but you dont care about anyones opinion.
Dont like my opinion? Shouldnt have made this thread bud. Lighten up.
charlestosis---->not a new genre, but a sub-genre. new metal is what i was talking about, where limp bizkit failed linkin park came in and brought in fresh stuff to bump it up. Korn did a lot for new metal as well and linkin park is continuing in keeping it going. Disturbed is another that is doing new stuff in the subgenre. ok so they didnt "invent" newmetal, linkin park is irrelevant in this discussion.
Whats relevant is that you make a post that proph3t takes offense to and he plugs his butthole tighter than an over-tefloned 90degree

Napalm Death did a killer version of "Nazi Punks F**k Off" by the Dead Kennedys.
