i dont really understand why people like rap.. they act like being a "thug" is a good thing. thugs are usually very poor and have no homes. they make a living off of killing people and usually end up in jail or die from drugs or get shot. but to each his own.

Used to somewhat like rap, the underground rap. All the rap that was too mean/too bad to make it too radio, that was the kind I liked. The old Dr.Dre and Eminem **** was good. Now it sucks. Its the same 4 second beat over and over for the entire song. All the song lyrics are bull**** too now. They all are the same exact words only changed around and VIOLA a new song.

I would agree with you if a fourth of that was true.
i think the only truth you spoke was that eminem and dre's old stuff was good, but the new stuff is right with it as well soo...

The same beat- No...
if you want to hear repeats you should look into some of this new emo stuff floating around, power chord...power chord...power chord... OoooPS! i accidentally hit an octave... power chord...

No repeated beats is ENTIRELY true. believe me, I've listened to so much current rap, and its the same beat repeated over and over through the entire song, except for a few small changes for a short time.
The lyrics is not true its exaggerated, but thats how I feel. The lyrics is all about thugging it up or pimping hoes, thats IT.
