If Eminem was black he would not suck. He would just find another way to get attention. That's how he sells records, when people take a stab at him he retaliates right back. Also, he is an awesome freestyler, download some on your computer. He rips people. He makes money and does what he likes, don't be so jealous.

If its easy to make up songs then you should be able to hit it off big by sending the great songs out to different labels. Maybe you won't get a huge label, but a small one that then can catapult you into the mainstream. Think about it, if it's so easy, why isn't everyone a rapper?

i didnt read all the posts so i dunno if some1 already aid this but 2 pac is a god.. there will never be any1 close to him besides eminem.. this man could beat superhero hes the one that makes rap.. if u wanna call it that i call it the music of god.. wasnt for biggie he would still be hear entertaining us with the hands of god..

Rap isn't about how good the songs are, its about who makes them. If I make a song just as good as a song Chingy makes, Chingy's going to hit big and I'm going nowhere. The point is, rap takes no effort to organize songs compared to other music.

for rock all you have to do is think of random words and start screaming them as loud as you can so nobody can understand what your saying

Your viewpoint on rock is flawed. There are so many styles of rock out there that just suming all of rock as "screaming random words" is showing how little you know of music. Unlike rap, rock artist can actually play an instrument, which is more than probably 90% of rap stars out there can do.

As far as screaming random words, last i checked rap was all about words, random words at that which happen to rhyme. I think speaking with a guitar is too complicated for them. Then again when your vocab is limited to "b*tches, hoes, and bling" there isn't much to say

i personally hate rap but mostly for the attitude and the ppl associated with it...dirty wiggers n (racist word for ppl of african american heritage lol) blasting it in the street. Rap artists only rap about the hood n drugs n sluts n watever other they claim to be the only things in life. True bans like lynard skynard sang about the spirit of america n who we are not just drugs n crap like that. ROCK ON LED ZEp!!1

I personally despise rap with a passion...that's all they play at school dances and on the radio, plus that's all you hear when driving home from school from all the kids that think they can relate to the music. Especially here in Mason, where this is one of the richest suburbs of Cincinnati and kids can "relate" to being in the hood

Just about all rap songs, with a few very notable exceptions, are about drugs, money, sex, scantily clad women or street shootings. I'd like to think I'm mature enough to listen to something meaningful, IMHO.

I personally don't like rap that much. I can stand some of it, but not the **** that they play on the radio. That is the worst **** I've ever heard in my life. But, being a rocker, I know that most any form of music takes talent. Well, maybe everything but emo

Anyways, the only main stream rapper I can stand at all is Eminem. Sure, he cusses as damn much as any other rapper, but it's meaningful imo. He uses it to tell a story, and not just a story about ****in his best hoe or something. My views on rap have changed quite a bit lately.

Also, old school rap is HARDCORE. Anyone who says otherwise should be shot.

myself i dislike the new rap. im a zepplin, lynyrd skynyrd lover. Although many songs like "dirt off your shoulder" i like the beat but thats about it i play it for about the first 5 seconds of nothing but the backround up untill he starts to sing. And i agree with not needing much talent to rap all you need is a beat and know how to rhyme. I live in iowa and i swear we have waaaaaaaaaaay to many wiggers here, i just dont know how some people can listen to that.

Some of my friends hate rap and are always on my back how it takes no talent, these are the people who listen to all hard rock. They think the only talent in the music industry is drums or some kinda guitar. But i say it takes talent to rap. Especially the people who rap about real life ****. I like eminem, d12, g unit, chingy and juvenile. Its not all about the rhyming, and whoever says the beats are ALL the same in each song, you are totally incorrect my friend.
