I've been deep into "Far Beyond the Sun" and "Bark at the Moon" for the past week. Both are awesome songs, IMO, but pretty brutal if picked correctly.
Alternately, I've also been playing around with some old "Sonic the Hedgehog" themes.

A tip on Eruption-- Use any music player on your computer and listen to Eruption at an extemly slow speed, practive along with it and increase the speed of the song and your playing. Also make sure you are using an official Van Halen TAB book, or else a very accuate TAB.
