What are end caps for? I mean do they serve a piont or are they just there for looks?

Well they have to be there, unless you have volumizers on the gun. But other than that, to buy new ones would just be for cosmetic purposes. I think...

i knew that it had to have end caps but i mean i have seen some that have spikes on the so i was just wondering it that for a purpose or just cosmitic.

Volumizers can help if you know what your doing.....
But you will be fine with just the end caps.

I think the angels look funny without duel Volumizers. Than again just one looks worse than none at all. Don't see how they make it look like a newb gun. . . They help a little, but in the grand scheme they arn't that important. |

well they dont really do anything.. they can help with the kickback, you wont notice it though. imo they make it look like newb guns cause most dont look to good and they are pointless upgrades. not to mention a paintball is more prone to break when it hits a spike then when it hits a flat surface.

That doesnt make sense....
It would be more prone to "roll" off of the spike, unless it hit dead on the spike. But hitting a flat surface, especially metal, its going to break.

Yea, a spike can help with bouncing, but thats not really the point of them.
Again, the duel volumizers look better than none or one, and they arn't totally pointless. And if your saying a pointless upgrade makes it a newb gun than all of dynasty are newbs for having a "pointless" dynasty body on there shockers. Along with every player that has a new grip on it.

dynasty has custom bodies because they get them for free. if each player had to pay more money for a better looking gun im sure no one would.

There are a number of D2/D3 teams that run Ion's. Punishers paintball a D-2 team uses all Ions.

Volumizers are intended to help with shoot down, it acts as a small reservoir of air for when shooting at a high ROF the gun will not be starving for air, granted most volumizers are fairly small volume and will only help a slight bit for maybe a few shots or more extra without noticing a drop off in your ROF or FPS.
Most anymore took it a step further and started with crazy designs such as the warped set that was a twisted spike, the internals were all the same but changed the look of them so you didn't have a penis hanging off the end of your gun because the originals from WDP literally looked like a penis, I know because I still have one of the 3 sets.
