I just bought a used Speed with a fly board and have a few questions. I'm new to electronics and not sure about some things. I'd like to find someone who I can email to be able to go back and forth but in the mean time here's where I'm at. The battery was completely dead so I've had it charging for a few hours. When I plug it in the green LED on the back of the grip lights up, everything on the board lights up Then it says LP V3 for a second before saying PWRON. Then nothing. The PWRON stays on the screen no matter what I do. Turn the switch on or off, press buttons, anything except turn it off. I can't do much more until I can get the thing to turn on. Anyone have any ideas?

It also doesn't turn on or anything without being plugged in.

Any tests I can do or things I should look out for? I got it to turn on but have to go through the manuals and figure out the menus. I also need to ge a fill and paint.

1. Check if Sensi still works. It was flaky as all get out even when new, so there's a good chance it won't work on there. That's the big thing. Angel purists would hate me for saying, but if you really love the marker and want to use it, find someone who can drill it for eye/eyes and install a board with eyes on it. With those internals being very nearly indestructible on those models, a set of eyes and a new board would put it shooting on par with anything out now.

2. Buy/borrow a pressure tester kit and set your pressures correctly.

3. I can't remember if that's still part of the low pressure generation of Angels or not (I wanna say I don't think so). Someone else will remember for sure. If it is, you either need a low pressure output tanks, a minireg mod, or a new reg.

It is LP and came with a tank. Just dropped it off at the shop to get retested. I borrowed a tank to test with and put a few hundred rounds through it. Fired great. I've got to check the sensi now but didn't have any paint before. What exactly does sensi do because there were no problems firing it.

I'm going to strip it down and clean it but forgot to get oil at the shop. Is there an alternative oil I can get at like home depot or somewhere that's closer?

synthetic air tool oil works great in paintball markers.

I happen to have a bottle of that at home. No problems with it in an Angel though?

Nope, that's all Love Juice was.

Sensi was a precursor to eyes. A little sensor pad at the bottom of the breach that would "feel" the ball loaded and therefore allow it to fire.

I don't think sensi works then because I did chop one ball out of the 200 or so I fired. I was taking it apart last night but couldn't get the ram out. It was late so I just put it back together for the night. Once it was all assembled I tried to test it to make sure everything was working and I think I somehow locked myself out of the trigger. When I turn it on now the screen says LP V3 at first then flashes back and forth between SEMI 1 and 12 155. The only menus I can get at are TEXT and S PIN. Any ideas?

Yeah, that's well beyond my ability to remember the ancient Angels. This might be something for AOG or Angel Army on the nation if noone else here can remember.
