hey today i was playing and everything was gravy..... but then i go get a fill, get on the field, and realize that the dude filled my tank filled it to 3500, and its a 3000 tank.... so then i start playing and i get MASSIVE drop off... im so confused....

wouldnt the reg on the tank still have the same out put pressure? and wouldnt my inline reg still take it down even if the tank didnt? could it have messed up my lpr? somone was saying it happen to them with their lcd and they broke some seal in/on their lpr....

what u guys think?

dropoff with strings of paint or fsdo?

you ever have any drop off before he filled it?

this shouldnt really affect you since the reg on the tank should be puttin out the same output pressure, if anything just a little bit higher, but this usually cures drop off not causes it, somethin else must of happened

its when i shoot ropes..... thats y i think its the lpr...

the gun did fall off the table.... but it like slid off, then hit the ground barrel first and slowed it down and everything, the body didnt really take too much force.....

tis very gay....

i prolly have the right size o ring or seal or what ever cuz i have like 100 diff sizes i have acculmelated from o ring kits, repair kits, angel first aid kits, etc.....

You have an angel tool kit?

if you do hook up the gauge to the front and take a few shots to stabilize the gauge then take a few more and watch the needle, make sure it jumps back to the operating pressure quick, and let me know your operating pressure and dwell settings.

well, my inline reg is at 550 EXACTLY. i think i may know the prob, or atleast.... an theory....

ok, so i turn my gun on and shoot, and watch the inline reg guage.... i shoot once, it goes down real fast, then back to 550. but when i start ripping, the guage steadily reads lower and lower pressure, which leads me to belive the tank got screwed up and is not giving a high enough out put pressure.

what u think?

what kind of tank?

over pressurizing it could have screwed up the recharge rates of the reg on ur tank, we now know that its not the LPR tho since ur noticing it at a pre-lpr pressure

its a 68/3000 pure energy...... im pretty sure its the tank. im about to put the tank on my bros piranha and rip on it and see if it gets quieter.... i cant belive he screwed my tank up. this makes me so mad.

you may just need a rebuild on the reg, a few orings may have got jack or the springs messed up, dont get too pissed off just yet

well, i put the tank on my bros piranha....

it was wierd.... the first shot it didnt shoot, jsut lciked, then the next one it worked, and then it worked for a while, but i wasnt shooting it fast. then i started shotting it, not even walkin it, but just pulling it fast. every other shot would work.... the others would just clik.....

this is very gay....

i dont want to friggin rebuild my reg or buy another tank cuz some stupid reff messed up filling my tank. but atleast its not the lpr..... and it better not be my reg, cuz i dont want to have to get a new reg since im sellin the gun.

only worked every other shot? first one was fsdo, used to have it on my speed

hmmm, I dont think its your minireg, its the reg on the tank pure energy tanks have slow recharge rates to begin with but over pressurizin it musta made it worse or blew an oring.

what gun u plannin on buyin after sellin the LCD?

a shocker....

but i did use a fly a bunch today, and it totally changed my mind about it.... it was really nice.

i also played with a shocker for a bit..... i loved it. only thing i didnt like was the fsdo.... but i also shot a dmfizzle, and didnt like it THAT much more than a shocker, if that makes any sence at all....

i NEVER had any drop of problems before this. only problem is that i wont be able to use another tank to see if it realy is for a while cuz im goin to new york on thrusday for a lil while....

Well if you go with the fly your gonna want a new tank ne ways

You might want to try a different tank and then you will narrow it down to see if it is either the tank or the minireg.

BTW, thankx for all ur help. im jsut glad its not a problem with the gun, jsut the tank....

but still, this means its like aother 200 bucks out of my account for a new tank......

Thats why im here.

Do try and use a different tank to see if you have the same problems, cuz then its your mini-reg.

But guns still sell with less than perfect miniregs

IF you get a new tank, go with a crossfire, they have awesome recharge rates and reg consistency.

i dont have a mini reg, i got a gen x 2 reg.... my mini broke

im gonna send an email explaining how they broke my tank, and got know somebody there who could say its true....
