Do paintballs eat car paint?

I was wondering if and when paintballs dry up on cars, if they eat the car paint.

Any help would be appreciated.

there is a car outside my house(its ours) that we usually shoot. We have shot it for 5 years now, and it hasnt had any effect on the paint. But a white residue is present, just need to wash it off lol.

theirs a field near me called fox paintball. when you drive in your driving in the middle of a field and paintballs can hit your car. Nothing happens to your car at all.
