What Barrel?

I just recently purchased a Tippmann 98 custom. It has the stock barrel on it right now. Does this barrel suck? What should I buy for a new Barrel??

My friend also has the 98 custom with a flatline barrel... It seemed to still curve the paintball a lot..What should I do????

Thanks

i have a flatline on mine and it works great when setup correctly. But it does cost alot of money. Id say look for a 14" J&J Ceramic. There are very nice for the price.

yes.

the flatline is a curved barrel that puts a huge backspin on the ball, making it go further without droping.

the J&J is not curved, similer to your stock but well made so more accurate

The stock barrels suck. I have a 12" J&J and it shoots like a dream. 14" would be better I'm sure.

also you could look at kits or something such as a freak junior kit if you have some money to spend... the evil driver is a good barrel and should be in your price range

well if he wants to buy a barrell kit then hes gunna be keeping the tippy for a while longer i would assume? if u really just want to up the tippy for now but buy a better gun later i suggest either buying a J&J 14 inch but if ur gunna keep the tippy get a nice barrel kit. Getting nitro also helps with the curves.

ehh maybe 12 inch. personally i prefer 12's because i dont feel the extra 2 inches helps tremendously anyway. just a very very tad too long.

why doesn't somebody make a really nice 13 inch barrel, for the people who are stuck between 14 and 12?
