All American barrel Question

Ok, so I got my All American Barrel with front and back, but when I screw the front into the back they dont seem to fit flush against one another. The front doesn't seem to go all the way down into the back leaving a large gap in the barrel. Is this normal or should I return it?

Well, the fronts have a larger bore size than the backs do. Which means you'll probably see a gap or something like that when you look down the barrel. May help with your problem. Or do you mean there is seriously space vetween the front and back?

Well looking front to back it looks like the back is smaller but looking back to front i can see a gap between the front and back. Almost looks like 1/8 inch or so long...maybe im just dumb...i dont have air to test it.

BTW, on the outside the front and back are together all the way...

Ya, it's most likely fine then if they're sealed correctly on the outside. But I'd have to be looking at one to help you on the back to front part, I sold my Freak though. Pretty sure you could notice.

can u feel it when you put your finger down it? Looks like its sticking out, which isn't good... will cause barrel breaks. But then again I don't know anything about this barrel.

Lol, ya. That shouldn't be like that. Unless you really have a Freak back with no insert in it, lol.

Not sure what your describing but there are only two scenarios. The front needs to seat against the back with no gap or very little. Should be a nice flush connection. The second case is that the front is larger in internal diameter than the rear. This is normal so the front can accomodate different sized backs. Also this design is seen in other one and two piece barrels.

Fronts always have bigger bores than all the backs available in the specific barrel kit. And AA backs only come in one bore, so...
