Smart Parts Linear Barrel vs DW

okay so i have a stock ion and i was really interested in buying a DW barrel but i came across a good deal on something else.
i picked up a Smart Parts Linear Barrel in great shape for $20 and the reviews on it seem to be excellent.
i havent shot with either of them yet but i was wondering if spending 150 on a DW with inserts or 90 without would be a good decission.
also how do you think the DW compares to the Smart Parts Linear Barrel aside from weight?

Smart Parts Linear Barrel < DW Carbon Fiber Barrel, but 150 dallors for a barrel is overkill. What kind of gun do you have? If your Linear Barrel shoots good, then why buy another barrel?

If you already have the Linear Barrel use that first, and see if you like it. I would not get the DW Fibur Barrel, unless you plan on keeping your ion for a while.

DW. Plus the DW is super lif=ght and you have the choice of different size insert depending on paint. Paint will change size with temp and humidity. Yes I do own DW Fibur and it is most awesome. It self cleans itslef if and when there are barrel breaks. It is super light and super strong.

If he already has a Linear Barrel and which is a decent barrel, there is no point in getting another barrel. The other factor is that he as an ion, and that means once he gets a new gun, the barrel is gonna be a waste. Impulse Threads=bad

linear barrels are crap. the DW is the best barrel on the market, end of story. if you plan on sticking to SP in the future then upgrade to the DW< same as if you plan on keeping the ion. if you plan on going cocker threaded in the future then don't get the DW jsut yet, unless you wanna get the cocker threaded breech for the ion.
