Hammerhead Barrels?

I was on youtube and looking at 24-Hour scenario games (anyone know of one in SC?) and found this video about Hammerhead Barrels. Anyone heard of them and is what they're advertising different than other barrel kits?

YouTube - Paintball barrels make a HUGE difference.

there's no difference between then an other kits. it's a marketing gimmic they're trying to sell. refling a paintball barrel really doesn't do anything special.

It is no better than any other barrel kit/ good barrel. Just buy a .691 CP or Stiffi one piece and be happy.

Its not like they're bad quality barrels. They're made to very good tolerances, but the rifling thing just isn't very effective. If you're going to buy one, don't buy it based on that reason.

Personally I cannot justify the price difference between a matchstik and a hammerhead.

You can buy gauges for paint like these: Rufus Dawg Ballsizer at ActionVillage.com : Paintball which quickly tell you the size of the ball. That or ask around your field to find out what size paint your field sells or that people commonly use.

I use one on my stock class Phantom, when you only have 10 shots you need them to fly straight and true, Hammerhead does this fairly well. But so does my J&J kit.
