choices?

ive done some research and have narrowed my choices down to the smart parts freak jr barrel or the j&j ceramic barrel. based on your oppinion wich one should i go with if im shooting a spyder vs2 btw the price isnt really a factor im just looking for overall performance

J&J. any barrel thread you see in this forums end up with a J&J barrel. Get it and don't ever be disappointed again.

idk, the freak would offer some sizing options. all those other threads were compairing something else that is a single barrel and the J&J this is a kit vs. J&J personally i see them about the same, the J&J is going to be lighter but the freak will have sizing options

so you give some and you take some i guess

depends on the pricetag of the freak i would say

but i read a thread on the freak barrel inserts saying they usually have a bore size variance from what theyre supposed to be.

not anymore, apparently that happened a while back but sp fixed it quick, unfortunatly the stigma stayed around. I have a full freak and i have measured it myself, half the inserts were dead on and teh other half were within .001 of what was marked (it is rounding error at that point)
