it doesn't add any velocity or accuracy, if that's what you're wanting to know.

the best size for a barrel is between 14' and 16'

YEa I have to agree with Luscher any barrel monger than 16 or 14in ur losing velocity since the pressure gets weaker as the move the ball out of the barrel from what I read.

your really losing efficiency, because you would have to slightly turn up your velocity to meet the 290, or 300 w/e your chronoing at.

If you have anything too long 14-16 inch is best you will lose accuracy. Close to the end of the barrel there will be nothing more propelling the paintball forward (aside from its own momentum) The paintball will start bouncing around the barrel and you that equals loss of accuracy.
