Barrel Comparison

I have narrowed my barrel choices down to two types. The first is a Stiffi carbon fiber barrel and the second is a custom options Palmer's Pursuit shop barrel. Both have gotten excellent reviews on accuracy, quietness and reliability. Does anyone have any recomendations between these two barrels? Go to Stiffi.com for the stiffi barrel and Palmer's Pursuit Shop.com for the cutom options barrel.

All quality made barrels will have pretty much identical acuraccy. Generally, all the kits I have shoot almost identical if I use a quality paint that matches well.

I have the Stiffi and personally love it.

Ok, thanks. How quiet is your Stiffi barrel and what paintball marker do you use it with?

you would have more fun by making your gun loud. youd be surprised by how many people are scared of loud guns.

Yea I know the A-5 is loud but it's the only gun I've got. I'd like to put some upgrades on and in it to make it as quiet as possible. The reason I got the A-5 was because of its cyclone feed system. I;m just trying to work with what I've got but thanks for the post.

Many people have different views on the cyclone feeder but for the price of the gun I think it's good.

I use a lot of markers with it. I've never noticed it was very loud, but then, I've been playing so long it has to be pretty booming for me to notice. Used it on my pm7 today and was very quiet.
