Proto 2 piece and dye UL

So i've heard people say both are almost the same with a slightly different design and a different price tag. Then I hear people say it's on a completely different level from the UL and it not nearly as good.

I'm thinking that it's going to be about the same as the UL because it is made by the same company, and it does look/feel same. Plus UL barrels are interchangeable with the proto 2 pieces.

What are your takes on this?

I prefer the Dye UL, i think there a little lighter. Not saying that matters but i find it helpful, the less weight the better

I think the weight is going to be very similar, i'm pretty sure a normal person shouldn't be able to feel it.

Same barrel, different bore, different milling. Have both. Never weighed, someone that I know that did said the Proto 2-piece rear is the same weight but the front is slighlty lighter than the UL. Don't know if it's true or not.
