problem with barrel threads

I have an 04 Spyder Imagine. I purchased a DYE Excel barrel off E-bay that is suppose to fit. Well, the threads do not match. Sellers says they have sold the same barrel to many Spyder owners and never had a problem. Seller has 100% positive feed back and a ton of sales.

Are the 04's odd-ball or am I missing something? This is the marker I'm referring to (because I'm not positive it's an '04)

they could have made a mistake. Compare the threads tot he stock barrel and see if they match.

I have compared them. They do not match. The threads on the barrel they sold me are coarser.

Can you take a picture of the one they sold you? Someone might be able to identify it so you could tell them exactly what it is they sent you.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone camera pic. Best I could do for now. The one with the o-ring is the stock barrel.

AFAIK, all Spyder barrel threads are identical across the board. They sent the wrong one, simple as that.

well those are not spyder threads, not sp, and not autococker, and not tippmann threads, so that eliminates probably the most popular 4, it doesnt really matter what they are though cuz they are not the threads you need, id send that picture to the seller and ask them to help you fix this issue
