Valken Crusade paint

I have seen a lot of paint questions on here and i can tell some people get annoyed with them because they are so vague and open ended, so im keeping mine simple

Is Valken Crusade paint a good woodsball choice? does anyone know of any issues or warnings about it or Valken in general?

My buddy uses empire evil and loves it but he has always been the type to get the top end even if its not the right thing for the job. personally after research i believe that the Crusade is tough enough for woodsball but still has a good break rate. or am I mistaken?

The thing about paint is that each batch varies so much at mid/low end that it's impossible to know what you're going to get. You are correct in assuming that a less brittle shell is better for playing in the woods. I'm very shocked that your buddy prefers to use evil paint. I find it preforms very badly in the woods, breaking on anything that it hits.

I have had 0% luck shooting evil in the woods. Other thick shells won't break on players as readily, but at leaks they'll make it through a few leafs

the 1 time i got evil for rec play I absolutely loved it. I will say there was a little less stuff in the way on that particular course but man did it fly straight. It actually ended up costing me $200 because it flew so straight, I managed to shoot our camera woman out there that day, didnt hit her, the camera itself when I came around a corner and saw someone with their hands up. I also managed to shoot my own car, it was a good day

If you dont want to spend quite that much, try anything else from RPS that you can get your hands on, marbalizer, premium, stingers. IMO, if RPS makes it, you cant go wrong after that its just the price.

Draxxas is another good brand just stay away from their field grade paint. Bronze would be a good choice for what you are looking for, in my experience, its pretty good overall paint and typically at a decent price

I'm a huge fan of draxxus bronze. GI makes it now. The GI 2 star is a very solid paintball as well. We sell it at my field for rental players and it's always very consistant.

True. Aslo when we order 3 star, we have to wait a month or so before it can be used. It won't break on anything. I think it may just be too fresh.

Maybe? all I know is that the last two shipments were complete garbage until a month or so later.
I remember that at Living Legends on year, they had that problem. they had to bring in older paint for the next day
