Hey, im new to the sport and new to the website. i just recently gotten a tippmen 98 cutsom, all i really baught for it was a bigger c02 tank and a double trigger, now i was woundering which barrel i should get, i saw somewhere on the net that there was an attachment that went onto the tippman so that you would be able to use spyder barrels, so any barrels that are good, please tell any tips are highly appriciated

try the j&j ceramic. ive heard they are good for tippys but not for spyders. just stick with the tippy barrels. dont bother getting an adjuster

If you want a kit get either a Evil Pipe or a Freak kit. If you want something under 60 get a Progressive, Teardrop, Or a J&J ceramic.

Why would they be any different in either gun?

get a progressive, or a teardrop, they are the same barrel exept the teardrop has cooler porting, both come with the right threads for a tippman

Hey Dude get the J&J Ceramic 14" barrel.. it will reach out and touch someone, and shoot through any breaks you may have... but that is another great feature, I have broke a total of 3 balls in about 5 cases of paint. And when you do you can shoot right through it and keep on pounding the rounds right out of the thing.

You'll love it!!

I had a J&J 14" Ceramic and i loved it! It's a great barrel for the price. I have a Flatline now and it is leaps and bounds better than the Ceramic. However, it also is twice the price but worth every penny.
