barrel kits under $150, need bores between .683 and .691

alright, im going to need a barrel kit for my autococker because next month im going to the local field and they use smaller paint like midnights and stuff. they rolled through my old ceramic on my 98 so im assuming they are like .685 or so. well, i think ive narrowed down which kits im looking at, some of the things im concerned with are:
-overall quality, how smooth do the parts go together, line up straight, and any visible seams?
-shoot through breaks, how many shots/will a squeegie be absolutely necessary?
-efficient, i want a really efficient cocker so an assload of porting isnt something i really want...

now here are some things ive been considering:
-empire 7pc (i found it for $100 new, so its looking real nice)
-j&j edge kit (comes with 4 bores, is about $115)
-cp base kit (costs about $125, can get it from criticalpaintball with 3 bores of my choice and a length of my choice)
-macdev matchstik kit (is about $100, 3 bores and 2 tips, but i cant find it in stock anywhere)

That's probably because macdev is giving the kit an overhaul, and they're not releasing the new ones until this summer. Naturally, no one's going to stock up on something that's gonna be obsoleted in a fairly quick time-line.

If you have your heart set on the macdev kit, maybe just stick it out for another month or so. Or get something else.

Kaner wont work on your gun, you could make a CP or KXS one. Buy a used pipe kit. Wait nevermind a CP base kit is for you. its exactly 150 and should suit your needs. Go to paintball gear . c o m and click barrels, then CP. You should find it easy.

i no that u said no freak, but what did is only get the inserts i needed and that saved a lot of money compared to buying the entire thing. U dont even need those super small or super big inserts anyways. I thought that u might be able to do the same thing with different kits

i worked abit longer so i think ill get either an empire 7 pc or evil pipe kit from my local proshop. thanks for the help guys!

and if anyone has used both an empire 7(or 10) piece kit AND an evil pipe kit, which would you choose and why? noise doesnt matter, but shooting through breaks quickly would really help. and ball on ball accuracy is the #1 thing i need(obviously).
