Compared to a REAL matrix, they're not QUITE as smooth, nowhere near as efficient.
Compared to a Rail, they're about the same as far as how smooth they are, but still not quite as efficient.

IMO, UGLY AS SIN.

But for the price, they shoot very good, easy to do maintenance, not many orings (for a spool), and are really reliable.

Would it be a good idea to trade a PM6 for one??

Well, most of the parts are still easy to find (now that I know it takes the same internals as that new DP that's name fails me), so I'd say... maybe. I personally wouldn't do the trade, the PM6 will be smoother and slightly more efficient. But not HORRIBLY smoother, nor horribly more efficient. So really it comes down to preference. And I think the Threshy's are one of the ugliest markers ever made.

However, if you like the looks of them, it wouldn't be a bad trade. Doubly so if you just want to try something out. The Threshy's do shoot quite well. Not quite sure what DP did wrong when they shrunk them down to make the G3.

Alright sounds alright with the PM6 which is good. I jus need a change. Any other gun that compares to it?

PMR compares most directly to the Threshy. Although much cheaper design, the Ion XE/Vibe Blackheart also very similar in how they shoot. If you wanted something a bit more efficient while still being very smooth, you might be able to find a Marq6 for not TOO much more. You could also get an ecocker, although unless you're familiar with cockers, I'd avoid that since they're much heavier than either the PM6 or the Threshy. You MIGHT be able to find a Protoge if you added a bit also. While not as smooth, smears most spools in efficiency. And an Angel 1. The gen2 Angel 1's aren't really that great on efficiency, and quite honestly, aren't all that amazingly smooth either. BUT...they can be upgraded with the boost bolt and fly internals, that make them AMAZINGLY smooth for a poppet, and have some of the best efficiency of any marker currently out.

I paid 250 for mine and got a ape board for 60 bucks its a good marker simple, reliable not that efficient I get around 7 or 8 pods on a 4000 fill with a 68ci tank shooting at 280fps. From what I seen of the Revi (850$) IMO its the same marker with different milling, board, trigger, and barrel kit (Bells and Whistles). Sweet marker for 310 bucks (after the board) I didnt regret it.
