IMO, no. While improved over the G3 series, I'm still less than impressed by them. Too much kick for a spooly, too loud.

I just picked one up last week and I've only shot it once. I've played a lot of games before but always used rental markers, and its definatly nice to own a marker.
So far I absolutely love it. I'll be going this weekend to try it out on the field.
I would definatly recommend it.

no, if you look at the unbalanced spools that are on the market the g4 engine is in dead last as far as quality and bang for your buck out of the ones that are currently made, yes its better than a rental as stated above but its a long shot from good for the price they want for it. E1 is essentually the same marker in a $200 package, much better deal but id still look elsewhere if your looking to pick up a marker

Drone DX!! Just to be different, it's probably out of your price range being $500.

fyi to the OP, the etha is a bit unknown right now as it just came out, but looking at its design and price, most of us like it already
