2010 PMR Questions

I just bought a 2010 PMR and also have a 09 SLG. A couple things caught my eye and I wanted to make sure they were normal.

1. When I got the gun I attempted to pull the bolt out to get familiar with it. It was very hard to pull out and put back in. Is this normal? Is it because it is brand new and not broken in?

2. The bolt on the SLG always went back behind the feedneck opening after degassing. When I take the gas off the PMR and dry fire to remove the air in the regulator the bolt stays forward. Is that normal for this type of bolt?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

1. Maybe not, don't use too much force so you don't break anything

2. Yes

Not AZN level price, there's not too many electro markers priced at the same level as the Talon.

^^^I agree (I've broke several things like that). Take it to your local field and have the techs check out or call Dye they have good customer service but it takes about 14 days to get back if you send it.

its normal compared to the SLG, its because hte bolt assembly is a much tighter fit because of the design differences, and because there is a lot of o-ring surface ares hitting the metal inside the marker when you put it back in, pre-lube the inside of the marker before putting your bolt assembly in and it should help, but compaired to the SLG the PMRs bolt assembly will seem a lot harder to install and remove thats notmal
