My friend gave me a proto matrix rail because he doesnt play paintball anymore. I dont know anything about them what so ever. he told me that the circuit is fried.
My questions to you guys are :
-Which proto rail is this 07/08??

-which circuit boards can i use? (dont want to spend around 100 or over)
Here are some links and it would be great if someone could specifically tell me which is preferable.

Tadao Proto Rail Board (Musashi 6) - TheMatrixCenter.com

Tadao Proto Rail Board (Musashi 6) - TheMatrixCenter.com

Virtue Paintball PMR Proto Matrix Rail / M7 Board

Here is also a pic of the current board status.
(im pretty sure i gotta buy a battery harness or do these boards come equipped???)

Could be 07 or an early 08. They were the same marker. The later 08's had UL frame stock.

Any of the boards you linked to will work. I personally would get the Virtue board. Tadao boards are IMO better, but can't argue with Virtues LIFETIME warranty.

He GAVE it to you? Wow, FANTASTIC marker for the price!! These are beautiful shooters. Get an aftermarket trigger if you can still find one, and it'll be a fantastic marker.

before believing him that the stock board is shot i would get a battery harness and try it out, im not saying your friend is dumb but if it does work it would not be the first time iv heard someone say the board is fried when really somehting like the battery is dead or there is a short in the battery harness

haha. he is dumb..... really. ive thought of that and same with my local pb store. I dont have much experience with the solder gun nor do i have one. Does a new board come with a battery harness? and thanks for the person talking about the clamp...i thought it was gone but once again i know nothing about these or the electronic gun. been using tippmann for too long. now i have a speedball gun
