WDP Angel IR3

Hello everyone, I want to either sell or trade this marker as I'm not a huge fan of it after playing a couple of games with it. It's a WDP Angel IR3 with some Warped Sportz parts with a silver anno (scuffed up) with an upgraded feedneck and volumizer and cobra trigger. Comes with a 12" Dye Boomstick barrel, CP on/off ASA. Has fully functioning eyes. The board is a Predator board which is why there's no LCD display.

This is a great marker but like i said, I'm not a fan of the feel of it.

$350 (shipping included) obo

Open to trades

And a quick shooting video for you guys

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately I didn't really enjoy using it as much as I thought I would.

He's probably just wondering why now, 3 years or so after WDP ceased to exist, we're suddenly seeing an influx of Angels for sale.

Has it really been that long since they went out of business?

Bummer. That was a year before I got into paintballing. They seem like great markers but unforunately I didn't enjoy using it.

I hated the 90* Angel frames. I loved the 45 frames, but the 90 frames were uncomfortable for me.

i never said there was anything wrong with them (maybe besides a lot of them having custom batteries and requiring LP tanks, not large issues though)

miller hit it on the head, seems like we have had a few show up lately. Reminds me of the month or so it seemed like every new player to join the forum wanted to be a sniper

I love a mech slide frame 90 on a cocker. On hinge frames or anything electro, no thank you.

I don't believe there's ever been a slide electro. I was meaning hinge mechs or any electro trigger I don't care for the 90 frames.

WDP more or less put themselves out of business. They won a court case against SP (at significant cost, certainly), but their reticence to evolve their design and damage to their sales and image as a result of outsourcing the manufacture of the A1 dealt the company substantial financial damage.

ya, in large part they stopped changing anything so nobody wanted to get any of the "new" angels because there was no reason to

Its kind of the same thing PE ran into but instead, PE took a year off and then released the LV1, ugly as sin but a fresh idea so I congratulate them on that

It's not so much that they stopped innovating, it's that their innovations they didn't work the kinks out before releasing.

When they outsourced for the A1, the first generation A1's had HORRIBLE reliability. They fixed everything in time, and the second generation A1's were great. And at the time, were one of the most compact markers ever released, and for a tri-tube, were actually quite light.
First generation A1 Fly, the poppets would literally fall apart after 20 cases. They fixed it with the FLY SE parts, and the upgrades made the A1 platform into what is arguably the best shooting multi-tube open bolt poppet ever. And was capable of efficiency for an EP that, at the time was unsurpassed. HOWEVER, both times, the first generation wasn't just spotty, it was downright BAD. A lot of people simply gave up on WDP, and so they died a slow death.

Amazing how that works, huh? Sadly, many companies fail to do so on a consistent basis.

I know this is slightly off topic but how did SP sue the companies it sued? what did they sue them for?
