Selling Smart Parts Ion with carbon fiber 68/45 tank

For sale I have my Smart Parts Ion paintball gun, it was used twice back in 2012 for a couple tournaments. I used to have the basic tipmann 98 before it and this gun was a huge improvement, since I bought this gun I have been too busy and it has just been collecting dust. I went to the paintball store and made sure it works perfectly. The gun shoots straight, doesn't break paint, it has different modes to set it on, right now it's on 3 shot burst because last tournament didn't allow for full auto. The hopper I had broke but those you can find for pretty cheap.

As far as the tank, it expired and needs to be hydro tested. I removed the regulator so all that needs to be done is the actual test, I will also include the dye tank cover.

per our rules, you need to post a price.

Is that the bolt out back ion?

I'm selling for 150 local just because I want to get rid of it. So it'd be that plus whatever shipping to you would be, or local pick up in SE Michigan.

About your question I am not sure, the only thing that was changed was the trigger the rest is as it was when I bought it.

I will pass the work on to people I know who are looking to get into playing.

On the back the body, is there a cap that screws out?

It's a basic Redz Ion, although it's a REDZ body, not SP, it's not BOB (never understood why they released their Ions as non-BOB).

That said, if anyone wanted it, you can get a DeadlyWinds Negative body for $40 now for these (gorgeous BOB bodies). http://www.deadlywind.com/negative-body-shell-wbob

My goodness, miller. That is sexy.

It's funny, I don't miss the days of the ion. Everyone wanted to built a sick nasty ion and then tried to sell it at ludicrous prices. It was cool that companies made enough parts to replace literally everything on them. I'm not sure if that speaks to the quality of the gun, or it was just the perfect timing for the modding community.

Modding community. It gave everyone who had been building 98's and A-5's and spending hundreds upon hundreds on a low end blowback the ability to build a marker that actually was improved with a few of the upgrades.
