PLEASE HELP - Spyder compact 2000 - something broken

Ok, so I purchased a used Spyder Compact 2000 for my brother around Christmas. We finally took it out to play with it and it would shoot a ball fine and then fire too balls at a time which would go a few feet. Shoot another 2 balls wonderfully and then break a ball while another plopped out. I then took it apart and found that there was a broken O ring on the bolt I believe. I replaced it and took it out again and it was doing the same thing. There are not any close paintball repair shops anywhere around where I live so any helpful suggestions or things that are wrong would be appreciated. Thanks you guys.

Not AZN level price, there's not too many electro markers priced at the same level as the Talon.

anyone else have any other ideas as to what is wrong with my gun. I lubed the gun and checked the hammer o ring... it's still dropping balls and shooting out more than one at a time. Some are breaking, some aren't. It's a mess.

Ok... the owner's manual doesn't show any piece that is labled a "hammer o-ring" so I am leaning towards a detent. Those can be purchased online can't they? I appreciate the info... still open to other suggestions if anyone cares to help. Detents aren't hard to replace are they? Well I'll check it out and any other questions I'll repost.
