help w/ egg feed neck

I've never had to shave a feedneck before and just wondering whats the easiest way to shave it down.....the neck fits just so high and often falls off. I have no clue on what to use to shave it down. So what what material or tool works best.

Simply get some 120 or so grit sandpaper, wrap it around the feedneck of the Halo B, and turn your hand. Be sure to apply pressure to the sandpaper. After every so while check it, you want the perfect fit.
