just bought new halo and think i mightve been jipped. HELP

well my new halo b came in today...well used but barley. and i have two major questions i need answered.

1)doesnt the 9volt battery mod require 2 9volts????
2)my drive cone is moving very slowly and makinf like a weird grinding noise...what is this? i just put in brand new batteries too.

any help is appreciated.

1. Yes the 9v mod does include two 9v's.
2. If you are only using one 9v...yes, this will cause the cone to be very slow and make the grinding noise you are hearing. If you are using the stock 6aa pack...your motor might be burnt out.

well my hopper came with only one wire for the 9v....ummm is the mod an easy fix or what? i have no experience with soldering and stuff like that so any help is welcome...

Looks like it's just a Halo and it's missing the 6 AA battery pack.

You beat me to it. THere is a plastic holder that contains 6 AA batteries. On the side of this carrier there is a 9v type plug.

So, I think you need a new battery holder.

Yes, or if you know someone who can solder decently you can stop at radioshack and pick up some regular (not heavy duty) 9 volt connectors for around 3 dollars, and make your own harness.

Ya, one 9v. just isn't enough to power a Halo. I say get a Boost, or a nice rechargeable pack.

I just bought a reloader b today and popped a 9V in it just to see if it would do anything, and it wouldn't even turn on.
